Glad to share Infosys Springboard is bringing in this virtual deep dive Faculty Enablement Program(FEP) for your faculty members on Generative AI on Citizen Data Science. Based on your request, the nominations numbers are increased up to 6 from each institution (excluding the previous nomination). Request you to kindly nominate new set of faculties through the same link providing 2 different nominations each time. Earlier nominations are considered on the top of the new nominations which will be updated towards the respective institutions.
Revised Event Dates – 31st July to 26th September 2023
Session Time – 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Please refer the enclosed sheet for exact schedule and coverage. Kindly nominate two more faculty members from your institution by clicking at the link given in the email below. Joining details will be shared with nominated faculty members later.
PS – Only spocs need to fill the form with the faculty members details, no need for faculty members to fill the details. Request not to share this mailer with the students to nominate. This program is exclusively for the faculties and the SPoC’s.

Dear Professor, Greetings from Infosys Springboard! We are pleased to invite our partnering colleges to nominate their faculty members for a unique, industry oriented deep-dive program on Citizen Data Science from July 31st to Sep 26th , 2023, every day. This maps to 24 contact sessions with 2 hours per session. Timings of the session will be from 2pm – 4pm. The Citizen Data Science Training Program is designed to help learners gain the necessary skills in the field of data science. The topics covered in this program include: | - Python for Data Science which gives the necessary programming skills.
- Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Probability Distribution, and Statistical Inference courses will be covered to provide the necessary mathematical foundations required for data science.
- Regression Analysis, Association Analysis, Exploring Machine Learning, and Time Series Analysis courses are offered to provide a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and techniques of the different machine learning algorithms in use today.
Note: All the courses are hands-on oriented using Python Programming Language. |
After completing the Citizen Data Science Training Program, the learners will: · Gain an understanding of the principles of Python for programming. · Get equipped with the mathematical foundations of Probability, Statistics and Linear Algebra. · Become familiar to use various machine learning algorithms such as regression analysis, association analysis, and ensemble techniques, multi-layer perceptron, clustering techniques. · Get an exposure to Time series data, its analysis and forecasting techniques. · Gain a required foundation in the principles and techniques of data science, through hands-on experience. It is recommended that the learners: · Should be comfortable with technology. · Have the ability to think analytically and make use of logical reasoning. · Have the ability to handle the technical aspects of learning data science. · Have basic math and computer science skills for a more comprehensive understanding.
Nomination Criteria: · The nominee should be a permanent member of faculty of the CSE / IT / ISE / MCA department with experience ranging from 2 to 15 years. · The faculty member should be available to attend the entire program and submit the necessary artifacts and complete the certification.
· Post the program, it is also expected that the attendees should take lead in conducting Data Science knowledge to their students.
